Please honor the health of your patrons by wearing a mask, when you have a notice in English and Spanish requesting you wear a mask before entering. Do not belittle customers that ask you to wear a mask.

NEVER GOING BACK

Less than 48hrs ago I purchased 8 green hopseed at the Gilbert AP Nursery location. At the time I was unaware of the 20% discount the nursery was offering. After Doing my yard today, I decided to purchase 6 more to fill up some space. I called the Gilbert location to see if they had any more in stock. They didn't but would get them to me in a couple of days. I mentioned the discount and the man(I think the owner) said they'd apply the discount to my current order of 6. I asked if they could reimburse me for my previous order of 8 since I was unaware of the discount at the time and I had them delivered just yesterday. The owner said "No,I'm not going to pay you back because you didn't know about it. You should have said something at the time. I am doing you a favor by telling you about the discount(after I asked about it) now and applying it to your new order. People can't say I bought a tree 1 month ago and get a discount today. I'm not going to pay you back. That's your fault for not knowing" He was very rude and made it seem like He was doing me a favor by applying a discount they are openly advertising. You would think that during a time where millions of people are out of a job and not spending discretionary income on trees, landscaping, and renovations that the owner would be more than happy to accommodate me for giving him business. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere next time and post as often as I possible can on every platform just so people now what type of business owner they are dealing with when they go to AP Nursery. Lastly, a couple days prior to buying the 8 trees, I went to check them out and there was a very helpful associate there. His name was Corey and he was extremely nice! I had a tree in mind already but he took the time to walk me through several alternatives based on my project. Corey, the associate is the reason I bought the trees from AP and now the owner is the reason I will never go back.
