~ In July 2012 the California Bureau of Real Estate (“BRE”) filed a Complaint against American Empire Mortgage Inc (“AEM”) and Cesar A. Haasler (“Haasler”). Based on the investigation the BRE determined that AEM and Haasler had engaged in acts or practices in violation of California Business and Professions code. The violations include but were not limited to; failed to deposit advance fees for loan modification services into a trust account mixed and commingled trust funds failed to provide loan modification applicants with a pre-approved advance fee agreement and failed to provide a complete description of services to be rendered to each homeowner-borrower.

~ According to the Order AEM and Haasler choose not to contest the complaint. All licensing rights of AEM were Revoked. The licensing rights of Haasler are suspended for ninety (90) days he was ordered to pay a monetary penalty and if no further cause for disciplinary action against his real estate license occurs within two (2) years the stay hereby granted shall become permanent. The Stipulation and Agreement became effective on April 17 2013.
