With this sweet edible basket you can not only eat the tasty treats you put inside but the basket too. First make your favorite rice cereal treats according to whatever recipe you desire, adding sprinkles or colored candy pieces, if desired, to add pops of color. Next, press the warm treats against the inside of bowls covered in wax paper. Allow them to cool and remove once hardened. Fill the bowls with marshmallow bunnies, Peeps, or other Easter themed treats.

Berry Cute Easter Boxes

Save some berry boxes to make these adorable centerpiece or basket. To recreate, apply all-in-one glue to the top edges of each box, and sprinkle glitter on top. Shake the box to remove excess glitter, and let dry. Fill the glittered boxes with colorful eggs and place them in a cluster on your dinner table to serve as a centerpiece, or attach a ribbon handle to make a cute basket.

For the Adults

Easter baskets are not just for the kiddies. Adults can join in the fun too. Take this example from HGTV for an Adult Easter Box. To make this creation start by spray painting an old wooden crate in any desired color. While it dries, make a banner to attach to the front. Cut triangles from black cardstock or scrapbook paper, and write a letter on each triangle using a chalkboard pen. Glue the triangles to a strand of baker's twine, and tie or glue the twine ends to the crate. Fill the box with gifts like wine, glasses and chocolate as gifts for the special adults in your life.
