we operated as the Better Business Bureau of the Southland. We changed our name
to facilitate an expansion of the services and programs we provide, and to allow
the organization to operate nationally. BCA publishes reports on hundreds of thousands
of business nationwide. The reports rate the businesses for reliability and performance.
They contain other important information like customer reviews, complaint experience
and extensive information on the services offered. All of these reports and all

Business Consumer Alliance utilizes a complex algorithm that weighs all relevant
aspects of a business. In simplest terms, the algorithm utilizes a series
of calculations to arrive at an overall composite score which is displayed as a
rating using a scale ranging from AAA to F. The rating represents Business
Consumer Alliance’s opinion on the reliability of the business. In other
words, it’s a predictor of the outcome you can expect, should you do business
with the firm.

on a business’ reliability.
